Differences between indefinite and imperfect

¡Habla!

4. En navidad siempre
(recibir) regalos.
5. Cuando hacía calor
(nadar) y
(comer) muchos helados.

I hoped I would learn Spanish fast and rapidly during my work, but at work I mainly spoke English and did not advance with my Spanish. Therefore I started looking for a good Spanish school where I could take Spanish classes before or after work. All the schools I found did not satisfy me. Either the classes were during work time, much too expensive or of an unsatisfactory low level. Finally I found Habla!. The school, run by young dynamic Peruvians, offers excellent tailor made Spanish classes for a low price. Together with my private teacher I could arrange the classes to fit perfectly with my work schedule and free time. In just two month I accomplished a fluent level of Spanish. Now I can speak to anybody about anything, which gives me a whole new world of new opportunities in every Spanish speaking country. I definitely recommend Habla! and would do it again with them.

I had classes with Habla this past July 2010! I am American. I teach children with special needs. I work in the U.S with many students and their families who speak Spanish. So I wanted to improve my Spanish to improve my teaching. This past July I went to Peru for a volunteer project. In a small neighborhood in Ventanilla, Peru, I did a soccer workshop for children aged from 8 to 14.

I taught them football and other games for two weeks. I was a volunteer program for an organization called Youth Goodwill. Before going to Peru, I had online Spanish lessons with Habla via Skype. I had twelve hours of class via Skype. When I arrived in Lima had twelve hours more with my teacher. In Lima, my teacher and visited many places during class. We had a lot of fun! I learned a lot of Spanish with Habla Spanish School. Also, I already knew some Spanish from past years, and Habla helped me to improve my vocabulary and conversation in Spanish!

I hope you can have a nice experience in Peru and speaks like me! Bye!
