Lima is the capital of Peru and formerly the capital of the the richest viceroyalty of South America. It is the mair city city in the country, from a political, cultural and economic point of view. It is located on the central coast of the country, facing the Pacific Ocean.

Touristic Attractions

Lima Center

Miraflores

Puerto Callao

Its main beaches are:

What visit outside of Lima?
Huacho / HUARA
Huacho city, capital of the Province of Huara. It is located 40 kilometers from Supe. Has an important fishing port and a countryside, beaches and lagoons with clear waters.
Huacho is a former fishing village has an old pier and its port you can see all kinds of boats. Has very nice beaches.

City Huaral / Chancay
Huaral is the capital of the province of the same name. Located 90 kilometers from Lima. You can enjoy delicious dishes like escabeche, marinated, dry rice, carapulcra, cracklings and boiled.
The main attraction is its castle built Chancay waterfront in 1924 and is now used as hotel and museum.

Village of Cove / Santa Rosa
Playa Ancon, located at Kilometer 44. Old Lima spa where they developed important pre-Hispanic cultures. Ragwort

Albufera de Medio Mundo

A 175 kms from Lima, is a charming place of great wealth and beautiful landscapes. Lake and wetlands, sand and sea at a distance of hundred meters that is pleasant to walk from side to side while observing the birds in flight.
This gap of 7 kilometers long, is home to numerous species of birds like the blue heron, osprey, cormorants and common coot, flapping able to run on water.
It is a good place for camping, water sports like windsurfing and amenities include boat rentals and camping equipment.

Festivities

Adventure Sports Festival Lunahuaná (February)
During the festival develop canoeing championships, paragliding, trekking, paragliding, mountain biking, fishing line and cast net.
Month of the Lord of Miracles (October)
This procession gathers the largest number of devotees in South America honoring Purple Christ, with songs and praises as the image moves around the city. In commemoration of the Lord of Miracles, in the Plaza de Acho bullfighting is performed by the same name coming to the top bullfighters in Spain and other countries of America.
