At Habla, Spanish Language School, we offer Spanish as a foreign language with special focus on spoken communication. We ensure our students achieve fluent Spanish and communicate properly.As a result, our participants  achieve immersion into Peruvian – Latin American culture and lifestyle more easily.

Our methodology

Our methodoly is based in teaching on real communicative situations, those that can be found in a regular day as eating out, buying in shops, markets as well as in business situations as negotiation meetings.  Some of the lessons are taught outside of the classroom so they students can experience real life situations. In addition we offer cultural, open air activities in touristic and historical places not only in Lima but outside Lima as well. Our lessons are fully in Spanish but our teachers are prepared to explain any doubts in English if necessary in the first levels.

Our Levels & Objectives

We offer 3 learning levels for Regular courses
Ofrecemos 3  niveles para el curso Regular

Basic level.

Speaking & listening comprehension: Can verbally express their opinions and acquired knowledge fluently, coherently, and consistently, understand and use everyday expressions which cover basic survival needs in the country. Know how to introduce themselves and ask questions to get basic information from others.

Intermediate level.

Speaking & listening comprehension:Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Reading comprehension: Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.

Writting & drafting: Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Advanced level.

Speaking & listening comprehension: Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.

Reading comprehension: Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning.

Writting & drafting: Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

Our teachers

We select our teachers taking into account not only the professional side, but the attitude of service. Our teachers are experienced in teaching Spanish as a Second Language for adults and children. All our teachers are graduated of careers as Education, Translation and Interpretation, and Communication, some of them have Masters in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language.  Because of this, our teachers have a great history so their students achieve to communicate succesfully in Spanish.
